Jessica Bianconi is a songwriter looking to achieve her dream of writing and singing her music to anyone. She does this as a part of her lifestyle. She looks forward to finding and sharing music with other artists and listeners. Jessica has been singing and humming since birth and continues to make music her passion in life. She is unable to imagine life without being able to create, learn, record or teach music and that is how she has become the artist she has flourished into today.
Jessica has been trained in Jazz, Classical and Pop voice. Working with great people such as Bernard Fowler, backup vocalist for the Rolling Stones and Rob Lamothe, from the band the River Dogs. She has also been trained classically under Yoriko Tanno-Kimmons and studied Pop/Jazz music with Trina Longthorne.
Jessica first band "Reach" was featured on Local and National TV for her band’s CD /video release with radio play for the song “Watch the Stars With me (On Christmas Eve)” on CHIN Radio highlighting the accomplishment of over 18,000 views on youtube in only one week's’ time.
She has also continued singing in original bands and performing at open mics, with live paid shows as a solo artist as well. In 2015 Jessica was the frontman of an original blues band, Velvet Revolution. Being the youngest competitor in competitions such as the Road to Memphis, Ottawa Blues Society competition the 2015 Rock and Roots Society Battle of the Bands Competition in Ottawa and snagged the first place title in the first round. She later joined the Alternative Rock Band Fragile Figures and played their first show with two popular punk bands that have played Warped Tour and closed off their US/Canada tour in Ottawa with Fragile Figures as a show opener as well as opening for headliners such as Red Handed Denial and He Is Legend.
In her most recent solo project, Jessica has been performing all around Ottawa on her own and with her backing band The Short Stuff and continues to perform her original works.
